Race for Life Sheffield 10k at Graves Park
Race for Life Sheffield takes place at Graves Park in Sheffield and features a double-lap 10k route that runs through parkland, mature woodland and open fields. The course uses paved and compact paths and includes short inclines and declines; woodland sections may be narrower and could become slippery in poor weather. The start and finish area is on grass beside the animal park.
The event is chip timed. The central event area on grass is sloped and may become soft or muddy when wet. Crowd support is expected near the start and finish by the animal park.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed and the site is described as suitable for pushchairs. Bag drop and showers are not available. There are no bike racks at the site.
Travel and parking information notes general event parking in a field off Cobnar Road with a short walk to the event site, a drop-off zone on Cobnar Road, and limited Blue Badge parking at the animal farm entrance. The nearest bus stop is on Hemsworth Road about a five minute walk away and the nearest train station is in Sheffield, approximately four miles from the park.
