Race for Life Pretty Muddy Leeds - Temple Newsam
Get ready for an unforgettable day out as you climb, crawl and slide your way around the Pretty Muddy® 5k obstacle course at Temple Newsam, Leeds on Saturday 11 July 2026. Sign up as a group with friends and family, or go solo and join hundreds of people on the day.
There's no pressure to finish in a certain time, so take it your own pace, get muddy and enjoy the atmosphere. However you take part, you're helping to beat cancer.
Course Information
The start and finish are on grass and a slight hill. The course is on a combination of grass and surfaced paths with varying elevations. It is a single lap route.
Event Details
Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a finishers medal. The minimum fundraising target is £50.00.
Accessibility
Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee. A QR code will be available on the main event site to access British Sign Language stage content for those who use BSL. Please note, due to the nature of the event it is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs.

Travel Information
By car: General Event Parking and Blue Badge Parking are accessed via Temple Newsam Road. Drop Offs are available near the roundabout at the end of Temple Newsam Road.
Public transport: The nearest train station is Cross Gates, approximately 1.9 miles away. Various bus services drop off along Temple Newsam Road.
Cycling: There are cycle stands at the Walled Garden and the Farm Car Park and cycle lockers in the Stable Courtyard.
