Race for Life Newbury 10k and 5k
Race for Life at Newbury Racecourse takes place on Sunday 14 June 2026 and is organised by Cancer Research UK. The event is open to people aged 16 and over. A minimum fundraising target of £50.00 applies.

The start and finish are on hardstanding in front of the Dubai Duty Free Grandstand. The course follows a mixture of surfaces including hardstanding, gravel paths and grass. There is a 1 km section on uneven and potentially boggy grass and several uneven surfaces elsewhere on the course. The full 10k route has an overall ascent of 18 m. The 10k event is chip timed.
Facilities and access information are provided on site. Refreshments, toilets and event parking are available. Free event parking is located at Newbury Racecourse with blue badge parking near the front of the event parking area. The nearest train station is Newbury Racecourse and is within walking distance. Bus service 9 serves the racecourse. There are no bike racks and no electric vehicle charging points. Drop offs are permitted within the event car park.
Some services are not available or suitable for all participants: dogs are not allowed, there is no bag drop, no showers, and the course is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchair users.
