The main start and finish use the East Heath Carpark overflow and the course is circular, starting and finishing on East Heath. The route runs on tarmac and through woodland and includes a few steep hills in places. The event is chip timed. The stated minimum age for participation is 16 and over. Showers are not available and the venue is not wheelchair accessible because of very uneven wooded areas with some sharp inclines and declines.
