Race for Life Haydock 10k
This Race for Life event takes place on Sunday 28 Jun 2026 at Haydock Park Racecourse, Newton-Le-Willows WA12 0HQ, organised by Cancer Research UK. The route starts and finishes on grass and runs through areas of tarmac, gravel path, grass and sand. The start and finish lines are located within the centre of the racecourse.

The course has been assessed as not wheelchair accessible because of the terrain. On site facilities listed as available include refreshments, toilets, bag drop and showers. Dogs are not allowed. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee and a QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content. Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends.
Travel information notes event parking at the racecourse accessed via the main drive, with drop off and Blue Badge parking available. The site is approximately 400 m from the pedestrian access point. Bus services serving the racecourse include the 620 and 320 and the nearest train station is Newton le Willows. There are no electric charging points or bike racks at the event.
Entry details show age eligibility from 16 years and over, ticket prices from £11.00 to £17.49 and a minimum fundraising target of £50. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training plans and a Race for Life medal on completion. The event is chip timed.
