QA 5k - 2026 Edition
The QA 5k returns for 2026 on Friday 7th August, promising another exciting night of highly competitive racing. PH Racing Club invites runners to bring friends and family to create a great atmosphere with spectators cheering on racers aiming for positions, prizes, records, and personal bests.

- Proposed Times: Multiple races starting from 6:10 PM (Race 1), 6:45 PM (Race 2), 7:15 PM (Race 3), 7:40 PM (Race 4), and 8:05 PM (Race 5).

- Registration: QAHS Main Entrance. Race 1: 5:50 PM – 6:05 PM, Race 2: 6:25 PM – 6:40 PM, Race 3: 6:55 PM – 7:10 PM, Race 4: 7:20 PM – 7:35 PM, Race 5: 7:45 PM – 8:00 PM. (Registration open from 5:50 PM for all).

Race Format & Route
The QA 5k offers a simple, no-nonsense racing experience for competitive runners seeking fast times and quality competition. The race will be held under UK Athletics Rules and is a scottishAthletics Licensed Event. The course features multiple races around the perimeter of the Queen Anne High School Campus building. The route is proven to be very fast, consistently producing new personal bests.
Route Description: The measured route is flat and fast, comprising just over 7 clockwise laps with no sharp bends.
Prizes
- Minimum Cash Prizes: £250 (1st male/female), £150 (2nd male/female), £100 (3rd male/female).
- Course Records: A further cash prize pot of £500 shall be given for course records (male: 13:57, female: 15:54). If both records are broken, each record breaker receives £250. If only one record is broken, that breaker takes home the full £500.

Enter via Entry Central. Entries are now open. Should a specific entry category become full, the race director will allocate spaces from the Waiting List as applicable.
