Pulse Walk: Penny Per Step Challenge
This event offers both in-person and virtual participation options for a 5K walk.
In-Person 5K Details:
- Early Registration: $20 (Open through July 31, 2026)
- Standard Registration: $30 (August 1 through August 31, 2026)
- Late Registration: $40 (September 1 through September 24, 2026)
Location: Indian Creek Greenway, Creekwood Pavilion Area, Madison, Alabama. Map Link
Parking & Arrival: Staging area near the Disc Golf Course pavilion off Slaughter Road. Detailed instructions will be emailed to participants.
In-Person Registration Includes:
- Official Pulse Walk T-shirt (Sizes Small-XXXL)
- Event participation bib
- Access to fundraising platform
- Eligibility for Top Fundraiser Super Car Ride Experience
- Access to event sponsor giveaways and activities
Community Picnic and Green Space: Friends and families are encouraged to bring picnic items to gather and cheer on participants. The event aims to be a community gathering centered around hope and survivorship. Additional sponsor activities, music, and food may be announced.
Virtual 5K Details:
- Virtual Registration: $20
Virtual Participant Options:
- Add an official Pulse Walk T-shirt for an additional $20 (includes printing and shipping).
- Complete the 5K anytime between September 20 and September 26, 2026.
- Create and share a fundraising page.
- Participate from anywhere in the world.
- Remain eligible for the Top Fundraiser Super Car Ride Experience.
Virtual Winner Redemption: If a virtual participant wins a Super Car Ride Experience, it must be redeemed in Huntsville, Alabama. Travel and lodging are not included.
