Písecká štafeta
The Písecká štafeta is a running relay race held in Písek, Czechia. The event features a 4x5km team format, where each of the four team members runs five kilometers on an easy course designed for everyone. For the second edition, the course was innovated based on feedback from the first year and will continue in this new form for the third edition. All essential parts of the race take place on the go-kart track in Hradiště, a part of Písek in South Bohemia, usually filled with the roar of engines and the smell of burning fuel during attempts to achieve the fastest time.
After completing the first part of the go-kart track, you will head onto an asphalt road around Hradišťský vrch, offering views of the former royal city of Písek and the Písecké Mountains stretching beyond it. You will also run above the historic waterworks, located at the foot of the ski slope famous from the movie Discopříběh. Afterward, you will start turning back towards the base. Along the way, you will pass a sports and educational trail that borders the route, leading you back to the go-kart track. Halfway through the route, you will return to the circuit designed for fast laps to recharge your energy from your cheering teammates, then exchange asphalt for forest paths and enjoy the soft terrain of the Hradiště forest with its interesting trails. You will return to the go-kart track from the other side, where tire barriers and colorful tiles on the inner turns will accompany you to the finish line. Here, you will hand over the baton or joyfully celebrate your achievement with your teammates and enjoy the post-race atmosphere with other runners.

- Go-Kart Track: The go-kart track in Hradiště, usually buzzing with go-karts and other racing machines, will be the heart of the entire race. The start and finish lines are located here.

Gather three friends, register for the race, and push each other for better performances. You can train, but you don't have to. Everyone can manage the 5 km course. If you need to rest, you can switch to walking to be able to run again later and complete your lap. Everyone receives a medal after finishing. For the best, we have a traveling trophy ready. However, the race is not about prizes and victory. It's about you and your team, enjoying it together and remembering it in the best possible light. That's why we will prepare the best possible conditions for the entire team, ensuring everything you need for the race is taken care of.
NEW! PAIRS COMPETITION
New from 2025! Can't find three teammates, or is five kilometers too little for you? We are introducing a pairs competition specifically for you! Each person runs two laps (a total of 10 km) and then hands over to the second partner, who also completes two laps of the circuit. The pairs competition is not included in the overall ranking for the traveling trophy. For this year, we are announcing only the winning women's, men's, and mixed relays.
