Pink Moon Ladies Trail Half Marathon
The Pink Moon Ladies Trail Half Marathon is a ladies only trail race held on the same route used for the Lunar Trail half marathon events. The 2027 edition is the third running and will raise funds for the local Women’s Aid charity, The Elm Foundation. The event is for participants aged 18 or older.
The course is an out and back half marathon that passes through Sutton Springs Wood, climbs to the Five Pits Trail, then undulates to a turning loop in Pilsley where a checkpoint and aid station provide water, squash and sweets. Runners return along the same route and receive a medal at the finish. Complimentary cake and hot drinks will be available by a campfire after the race.
Race HQ is at Rock Lane, Sutton Scarsdale S44 5ST. Free car parking and toilets are available at Race HQ and on the nearby lane. Course safety measures include additional marshals in hi viz, glow sticks through the wood and down Rock Lane to guide runners, a tail runner or safety bike, and medic cover on the course and at Race HQ.

Event start: 5:00pm (optional earlier start: 4:30pm); event finish: 8:00pm.
