Elpersheimer Pfingstlauf
The Pfingstlauf Elpersheim, also known as the Energiezentrum-Cup, is an annual running event organized by the Sportverein Elpersheim. The event emphasizes fun in running and aims to showcase the friendly side of Elpersheim, welcoming guests.

Course Information
The 10 km course is run on asphalted paths, with elevations between 220m and 240m and gentle inclines. The route is a scenic loop around Elpersheim, extending into Weikersheim, passing the Baroque castle and market square, then returning to Elpersheim through fields and along the Tauber river. Half marathon participants complete the course twice. Ample refreshment stands are available along the entire route.
For the 2026 edition, there were 448 participants, setting a new record. Winners in various categories were celebrated, including Kay-Uwe Müller (Half Marathon M) and Annika Hayn (Half Marathon W).
The event is held under the patronage of Weikersheim's mayor, Nick Schuppert.
