Pfahlbau Marathon
The Pfahlbau Marathon will take place in Uhldingen-Mühlhofen on Saturday, May 8, 2027. This event is known as one of the most beautiful natural runs in the Lake Constance region, combining athletic activity with a breathtaking spring landscape.
Runners can enjoy the fresh lake air as they start from the promenade in Unteruhldingen. The routes wind through beautiful natural paths, meadows, and forests. The 21-kilometer half-marathon leads participants past the pile dwelling museum, through fields to Salem Castle, across its grounds, along the Prälatenweg to the Affenberg (Monkey Mountain), past the Birnau Basilica, and through the nature reserve back to the harbor in Unteruhldingen.
For those seeking shorter distances, there are 10-kilometer and 4-kilometer runs available. A nearly 10-kilometer circular route is also set up for Nordic walkers. For the younger participants aged 6 to 15, the KIDS RUN offers a great sporting experience with three different school runs to choose from.
Post-race, participants can enjoy refreshments provided by members of TSV Mühlhofen.
Green Event BW: The Pfahlbau Marathon is recognized as a Green Event BW, focusing on sustainable practices such as waste avoidance and separation. Participants are encouraged to contribute by using public transport.
Start & Ziel
The start and finish line are located at the promenade/harbor area in Unteruhldingen, on the beach promenade in 88690 Uhldingen-Mühlhofen, directly by the natural beach.
Registration Information:
The 19th Uhldinger Pfahlbau Marathon is scheduled for May 8, 2027. Registrations will be possible starting in December 2026. Exact registration dates will be announced via social media.
Start Fees 2026 (in Euro):
- Half Marathon (born 2006 or earlier): €30.00 (until April 26), €33.00 (April 27-May 3), €35.00 (May 4-8), €40.00 (May 9)
- Half Marathon Youth (born 2007-2010): €20.00 (until April 26), €23.00 (April 27-May 3), €25.00 (May 4-8), €30.00 (May 9)
- Pfahlbau 10er (born 2012 or earlier): €20.00
