Oxbow 15/50 Trail Running Event
Welcome to the Oxbow 15/50, a trail running race held on the Trans-Canada, Epinette & Yellowquill Trails of Spruce Woods Provincial Park, Manitoba. We acknowledge that these are the ancestral lands, Treaty 1 Territory, traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples and the homeland of the Metis Nation.
Race Day Details
- Bib Pick-Up & Check-In begins at 7:30 AM
- Racer Meeting at 8:15 AM
- 15k & 50k begin at 8:30 AM
- Course closes at 6:30 PM (10 Hours)
Registration Details
Registration is capped at 100 registrants across both events and is currently sold out. Bib transfers were permitted until April 30.
Cost
- Early Bird Special (January 26-February 8): 15k – $60.00 / 50k – $130.00
- Regular Registration (February 9-April 5): 15k – $75.00 / 50k – $155.00
- Late Registration (April 6-April 30): 15k – $80.00 / 50k – $175.00
Registration occurs through UltraSignup with processing fees and GST. E-transfer options are available by contacting the organizer.
Refund Policy
In the case of event cancellation due to public health restrictions, weather, or other factors beyond our control, there will be no refunds or deferrals. Bib transfers are allowed until April 30.

- Access to a fun, relentlessly up and down and deceptively hard 15k and 50k course.
- Supported aid stations throughout.

Timing
Manual timing will be used with no live tracking. Results will be posted on UltraSignUp a few days following the event.
Course Description
50k: The route will begin by running to Cabin 3 using the Epinette Trails and returning to the trailhead parking lot where the main aid station is located. After this, you will head south on the Trans-Canada Trail linking up with the Yellowquill Trails, eventually making your way to the Yellowquill Trailhead Parking lot. Family, friends, and crew are welcome to cheer you on from this area and provide support. You’ll return back to the start/finish area and then head out again to complete a second loop of the Yellowquill trails.
15k: You will be running the Yellowquill Trail loop 1 time.
