Oswestry 10K Run
The Oswestry 10K brings together an active community of people taking part in sporting events for reasons ranging from fitness, competition, charity, health, fun or to simply finish. The participants vary from nervous first-timers of all ages through to competitive runners.
The Oswestry 10K will take place on Sunday 11th October 2026. The event start/finish is in Church Street and loops around the town. The event HQ & start/finish are a short walk from several car parks in the town centre.

Spectator Information
The race will take place on fully closed roads for the safety of the runners and the volunteers. Spectators can watch the start and finish on Church Street. The route has good pavement coverage.
Slower Runners
Oswestry 10K is a running event for all runners and safety is key for everyone. The race cut off time is 90 minutes. Roads will re-open in line with this pace. If you fall behind this pace, for your own safety you may be asked to withdraw from the race.
About Oswestry 10K
Perfect for all 10K runners as well as those seeking a fast time. An undulating and challenging fast one lap race starting and finishing in the Town Centre with fully closed roads. The Route is mainly on town roads with a nice scenic section towards the end.
Once you have completed the run, you will receive your own finishers medal! Race Start / Finish will be full of music and flags. There will be a help desk at Race HQ for any last minute issues. The race village is just a short walk from the local park, car parks, retail shops, cafes and eateries.
