One Step Closer - A Summer Endurance Event
Welcome to One Step Closer, an exciting summer endurance event created by Orca Running AND Evergreen Trail Runs. This race promises to be THE summer endurance event you won’t want to miss, held in the beautiful Lincoln Park.
Course Details
The event features loops at Lincoln Park, offering a diverse experience for runners. Participants will complete a 2-mile course loop as many times as possible within their selected time period.
- Available Time Periods: 18 hours, 12 hours, 6 hours, or 3 hours.
- All runners will finish together at 10:00 PM with a finish line party!
NEW for 2026: Battle of the Run Clubs
During registration, you can join a team of 2-5 members. The top 3 teams with the most loops at the end of the event will win bragging rights and a special finishers plaque.
Kid's Loopy Race
Choose between a 30-minute or 1-hour race for kids. Children will complete as many loops as they can around the baseball field within their selected time. They can take breaks and will run through a snack station for treats. All kids will finish together in a special celebration and receive a medal.
