Olympijský běh – Nový Jičín
Nový Jičín, a city known for its square with arcades and the historic Renaissance house Stará pošta, will traditionally join the celebrations of Olympic Day. After years, the race will offer participants a run through the romantic streets of the historic center. Run and contribute to the Czech Olympic Foundation.

Information for participants
Registration is online only until June 5, 2026; on-site registration will not be possible. You can register yourself and your friends at once. Click 'Add another runner' under the registration form to add multiple participants to one shopping cart.
Location and Time
Start and presence location: Masarykovo náměstí, Nový Jičín. Start of the main race: 18:00 (will be broadcast by Český rozhlas).

- April 1 - May 31: 350 Kč
- June 1 - June 5: 400 Kč

- February 2 - March 31: 500 Kč
- April 1 - May 31: 600 Kč
- June 1 - June 5: 650 Kč
Entry fees - children's races
- February 2 - March 31: 100 Kč (without t-shirt), 300 Kč (with t-shirt)
- April 1 - May 31: 100 Kč (without t-shirt), 300 Kč (with t-shirt)
- June 1 - June 5: 100 Kč (without t-shirt), 300 Kč (with t-shirt)
Registration ends: by bank transfer May 29, by card June 5, or earlier if capacity is reached. On-site registration will not be possible.
By purchasing a start fee, you contribute 20 Kč to the Czech Olympic Foundation.
Further Information
Start for children on the adult course is permitted in this location. The course can be completed on a wheelchair or handbike. Chip timing: NO. Toilets and storage will be available. Parking is possible at Na Valech street (approx. 150 m from the start).

- 15:45-16:45: Collection of start packages for children's races
- 16:00-17:30: Collection of start packages for adult race
- 17:00: Start of children's races (400 m for 5-9 years, 1200 m for 10-15 years)
- 17:30: Award ceremony for children's races
- 18:00: Start of main races (2.5 km and 5 km)
- 19:00: Award ceremony for main race
