Oktoberfest : Rodley, Leeds
Oktoberfest is a canal-side running event based at Rodley Cricket Club, Canal Bank Sports Ground, Moss Bridge Road, Rodley, Leeds LS13 1RL. The event takes place along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal on a largely flat towpath with gentle rises around locks.
Distances offered include:
- 5K
- 10K
- 10 Miles
- Half Marathon
- 20 Miles
- Marathon
- Ultra Marathon
The event is chip-timed and fully marshalled. Feed stations are provided approximately every 3 miles and are cup-less, so runners should bring a bottle or cup. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and post-race treats. Routes are available as GPX files before race day. Longer distances are composed from the shorter routes: 20 Miles is the 10 Mile route twice, Marathon is the Half Marathon route twice, and the Ultra uses two Half Marathon laps plus the 10K route.
