North Lanarkshire Half Marathon
Sponsored by Albert Bartlett, the North Lanarkshire Half Marathon returns on 23rd August 2026, hosted by RUN NL and organised by North Lanarkshire Council. The event takes place at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility.
Event Details:
- Half Marathon: For participants aged 16 years and older. Chip timed.
- 5K: Open to ages 12 years and older. Chip timed.
- 1K: For ages 7 years and older.
- 400 metres: For ages 6 years and older.
- Toddler Dash: For pre-school ages 3 to 5 years.
All participants will receive a finisher's medal. The entry fee for the Half Marathon and 5K includes fruit, water, cereal bars, and a race T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded in the 1K, 400 metres, and Toddler Dash categories.
The event also features family entertainment including bouncy castles, trampolines, face painting, and "Come & Try" sports development classes. Free massage therapy sessions for warm-up and cool-down will be available. Food, refreshment, and merchandise stalls will also be present.
