Newport to Ryde Race
This is a 7 mile multi-terrain race from the County town of Newport to Ryde, the Town on the Beach. Enjoy an undulating route that takes advantage of old railway lines, open farm lands, tree-lined woodland paths and offers some lovely views along the way. This is an extremely popular race and forms part of the Ryde Harriers Easter series which also includes the West Wight 3 Hills on Easter Monday.

Race Information
- The course is undulating and uses former railway lines, open farmland, tree lined woodland paths and sections that offer views along the route.
- A water station is sited at about 3.6 miles.
- The route includes stiles and extreme terrain and is not suitable for wheelchairs.
- The event is organised under a UKA race licence (No. 30150).
- Entry is limited to 175 runners.
- Numbers and timing chips are issued at registration; changing facilities are available at the start.
- Transport of runners' kit from the start to the finish is provided.
- On street pay and display parking is available at the start; limited free parking is available at the finish.
- For safety, in ear or over ear headphones are not permitted, bone conducting headphones are allowed.
- Dogs are not permitted to run.
