Muko-Lauf Wald - "Der Lauf für das Leben"
Join the 4th Walder Muko-Lauf and Muko-Run on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Wald. The event starts at 10:30 AM with bib pickup, and the races kick off at 1:00 PM for the 21.1 km and 10.0 km distances, and 1:15 PM for the 4.5 km distance.
All proceeds go directly to the nationwide Cystic Fibrosis Association (Mukoviszidose e.V.) in Bonn.
Race Details
The start line is at WaldHalla. The courses wind through scenic, traffic-free paths in the municipality of Wald. A refreshment station will be available mid-course.
Participants can choose from three distances:
- 4.5 kilometers (Start at 1:15 PM)
- 10 kilometers (Start at 1:00 PM)
- 21.1 kilometers (Half Marathon - Start at 1:00 PM)
The motto is "Being there is everything. If you want to help, then run." The event welcomes all ages and fitness levels, from walkers to competitive runners.
Registration and Pricing
On-site registration may be limited on the day of the race. The participation fee is fully donated.
Optional event running shirts can be purchased for €15 during registration (until September 6, 2026).
Start Fees:
- 4.5 km and 10 km:
- Adults and youth (15+): €25 until August 31, 2026; €35 until September 13, 2026. Limited on-site registration possible.
- Children up to 15 years: €13 until August 31, 2026; €18 until September 13, 2026. Limited on-site registration possible.
- Half Marathon (21.1 km):
- €30 until August 31, 2026; €40 until September 13, 2026. Limited on-site registration possible.

- Musical entertainment with Bloody Chicken Heads (from 8:00 PM)
The entire proceeds from the supporting program will also be donated.
