Our Mission Statement:
Empowering survivors of domestic violence, including a focus on minorities & underrepresented communities to break the cycle and rebuild their lives by providing counseling, advocacy, refuge, and education when it is needed the most. About Miko's Place Miko's Place was founded by a survivor. Our founder experienced years of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse and watched her mother remain trapped without language, resources, or a way out. That lived experience is the foundation of everything we do. Today, Miko's Place provides therapy, legal assistance, and wraparound support services to help survivors not just survive -- but thrive. Every dollar raised on June 28th goes directly toward making that possible. Learn more and get involved at mikosplace.org
