Middlesbrough Runs: 10K and 5K
Middlesbrough Runs presents two town centre road races organised by Events of the North. The programme includes the Middlesbrough 10K and the Ali Brownlee 5K. The course is described as flat and fast and runs past the Riverside and through central Middlesbrough, starting and finishing near Centre Square, TS1 2BF.
Entries include electronic chip timing, a finisher medal and goody bag, secure baggage drop and prizes for the top three male and female finishers plus first V40, V50 and V60. Road closures will be in place for the duration of the races and there will be marshals and course signage at key junctions.
Support facilities include water stations on the route and an Event Village in Centre Square with stalls and food and drink options. Race information and race packs are posted to UK entrants; overseas entrants collect packs from Race Information during the event weekend. Race Information is also available on the day for number collection or entry queries.
Minimum age rules apply: 11 years for the 5K and 15 years for the 10K. The event lists a charity partnership with Zoe’s Place Middlesbrough.
