Luray SwimFest

Description: The Luray SwimFest offers three race distances: 800m, 1600m, and 2400m. You can combine distances; they won't overlap. Podium awards are available for each race.
Schedule:
- 6:30am to 7:30am: Packet pickup – 800 Meter Race
- 6:30am to 8:00am: Packet pickup – 1600 Meter Race
- 6:30am to 9:00am: Packet pickup – 2400 Meter Race
- 7:30am: Pre-race meeting
- 7:45am: 800 warm up
- 8:00am: 800 Meter Race begins
- 8:45am: 1600 warm up
- 9:00am: 1600 Meter Race begins
- 9:45am: 2400 warm up
- 10:00am: 2400 Meter Race begins
- 11:00am: Awards ceremony (approximate)
Race Information:
- Swim Course: Lake Arrowhead (800m course)
- Start: In-water start, wave format
- Timing: Professionally chip-timed
- Course Support: Water and food at the finish line
- Rules: Wear provided swim cap with bib number; wetsuits allowed if water temp below 78.1 degrees; fins not permitted.
What's Included: Finisher's medal, race photos, race T-shirt, awards, timing chip results, swim cap, food and drinks, music.
Awards: Overall male and female (top 3), age groups (top 3): 16 and under, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
