Lone Wolf Birmingham 2026
Lone Wolf Birmingham is an endurance running event held on Saturday 19 September 2026 at Wyre Forest, Callow Hill, Bewdley (DY14 9XQ). The event base is at Wyre Forest Cafe.
The event uses a 6.7 km loop through woodland, combining undulating forest tracks and single-track paths. Runners complete the loop each hour; to continue they must finish the loop within 60 minutes. Participants may repeat laps to form set distances, including:
- 10k
- Half marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra marathon
Racing continues until either the final runner finishes or 24 hours elapse. On the 24th lap the finish is contested and an overall winner is declared. Organisers recognise one male and one female champion. The ultimate victor receives a handmade wooden trophy; all participants receive wooden medals. Event t-shirts are available for purchase and are distributed on the morning of the event.
Facilities at the event base include a cafe, a large room for changing and resting, toilets, water points, a first aid station, and onsite paid parking (24 hours, fee noted on site). The forest prohibits fires, cookers and barbecues. Phone signal is poor in parts of the forest. The event is open to people aged 18 and over. Well behaved dogs on leads are allowed and spectators may watch from the start/finish area.
Registration and race numbers are completed on the morning of the event. Refunds are not available after ticket purchase; if the event is cancelled tickets may be transferred to another Lone Wolf event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
