Lickety Splitz Popsicle Run
Add Some Sweet Fun to Your Summer with the Lickety Splitz Ice Cream Run! This event is the perfect way to celebrate fitness, community, and a little post-race ice cream. Starting and finishing at Sagebrush Community Church, the scenic loop course takes participants through Albuquerque’s beautiful North Valley and Bosque trails. Choose your distance, bring your family and friends, and enjoy a summer event made for runners and walkers of all ages.
All registered participants receive a stylish event T-shirt and a custom finisher medal. Overall and age group awards will be presented, and everyone can look forward to ice cream and other goodies at the finish line.
Proceeds from the Lickety Splitz Ice Cream Run help support the construction of churches and community ministry projects in developing countries around the world. Every registration helps make a meaningful difference — one step, one smile, and one community at a time.

Race Day Registration: Available. Participants registering after noon on Friday, 7/25/25, can pick up their packets on race day between 7:00-7:30 AM on the east side of Sagebrush Community Church.
Race Details
This race features a Timing Chip finish. All participants must wear a timing chip/bib to be included in the results and eligible for awards. The bib must be worn on the front and be visible.
Bathroom Facilities: Located near the start/finish.
Medical Support: Medical staff and radio communications personnel will be positioned at aid/water stations. Event officials can withdraw any runner who appears distressed. Please notify officials if you need assistance or cannot finish.
Headphones/iPods: Allowed, but athletes competing for prizes cannot use them.
Garmin/Nike Plus: Allowed, but do not count as official times or distances.
Not Allowed: Video devices, cell phones, computers, cameras, baby joggers, strollers, skateboards, rollerblades, unauthorized bicycles, or other wheeled devices (except for authorized course marshals on bicycles).

Refunds/Transfers: No refunds, donations, or transfers of entries are permitted. Fees are non-refundable and cannot be deferred.
Packet Pickup by Friend: Allowed.
Dogs: Not permitted due to course limitations.
Inclement Weather Policy
Weather forecasts will be monitored. In case of severe weather, athletes will be notified via the RunFit website and email. The Race Director will decide on any modifications, including start time changes or cancellation. Visible lightning will cause a 15-minute delay, with further delays for additional sightings. Extra water will be provided in extreme heat, and the medical team will be alerted.
Results & Awards
Results will be posted on www.irunfit.org. Awards will be presented immediately after each event. All awards must be picked up on race day; no awards will be mailed.
10K Awards: Overall top three men/women (gun time). Age group awards for men/women (19 & under to 80+).
5K Awards: Overall top three men/women (gun time). Age group awards for men/women (12 & under to 80+).
Kids K: Non-timed event for participants 11 and under.
Post Race
Refreshments include popsicles and more!
