About the Race
Experience the Leonardo-Campus-Run with running distances from 750 m, 2.5 km, and 5 km up to 10 km for beginners, advanced runners, employees and students of Münster universities, running and company sports groups, school classes, children, and teenagers.
Sports enthusiasts can collect 10,000 or more steps on the day before the Leonardo-Campus-Run and thus also be part of the event.

The 24th edition of our popular Leonardo-Campus-Run will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Races will again be offered over four distances: from 750 meters to 2.5 kilometers, 5.0 kilometers, up to 10.0 kilometers.
Registration for the 24th Leonardo-Campus-Run starts on Monday, May 11, 2026. We also offer a simplified registration process for running groups of 20 or more participants from schools and companies starting Monday, May 11, 2026.
Results from previous years can be viewed on the website of our timekeeper Cologne Timing. Here you have the opportunity to print a personal certificate. The results from 2009 to today have been published in our archive. Additionally, current course records can be accessed.
Challenges and Team Events
Need a challenge? Requires endurance, a healthy dose of ambition, and above all, team spirit. Ready? Then grab three friends, family members, or colleagues and form a relay team for our 4 x 2.5 km Run. Be there when it's time again: One team, one course, one common goal!
Students, pay attention! Win the cup! Participate in the student team competition at the Leonardo-Campus-Run with your student council! Do you prefer jogging together or can you only manage with a few motivating words from your running buddies? Then the Leonardo-Campus-Run is exactly right for you, because it's all about the team here. It's very simple: Register your student council and win prize money of up to 300 Euros.
Win the School Prize - the school with the most finishers receives a trophy and a school prize of 200.00 Euros. Through the separate scoring for primary schools and secondary schools, two schools always benefit. The most active school also wins: The school with the most finishers in relation to its total student population wins a trophy and a school prize of 200.00 Euros.

The Course
Exactly 250,000 cm is its length - one lap at the Leonardo-Campus-Run. The course for the road race has been officially measured by the German Athletics Association, thus enabling the comparability of results. Various distances will be offered again - the 2.5 km lap will then be run once, twice, or four times according to the race course.

The Leonardo-Campus-Run is a race for everyone! Whether young or old, beginner or advanced, with or without limitations - we look forward to seeing you! To make it easier for runners with disabilities to participate, we offer our support before and on the day of the event.
Timing
The stopwatch was yesterday, today it's ultra-high frequency measurement. This year, the running time at the Leonardo-Campus-Run will also be measured with state-of-the-art technology. To ensure the highest possible accuracy, each participant will again receive an ultra-high frequency chip with their bib number.
