Leeds Santa Dash : event overview
The Leeds Santa Dash is a festive 3KM fun run in Leeds that forms the final leg of Kevin Sinfield's 7in7: Together Challenge. Run For All delivers the event, which starts at Leeds Beckett University (Headingley Campus) and finishes at AMT Headingley Stadium. The event is scheduled for Sunday 7th December and brings together participants who run, jog, walk or wheel.
Entries are open to all ages and abilities. There is no age restriction for entries, though participants aged 0 to 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants receive a Santa suit (excluding children under 3), a finisher bauble and a chocolate.
Race numbers and Santa suits are collection only and must be collected before the event; the final collection day is Saturday 6th December. There is no baggage store on site and discarded clothing left at the start will be collected and donated. Medical personnel and a first aid unit will be available near the start and finish areas.
The event supports fundraising for Motor Neurone Disease causes. All profits from the 2025 Leeds Santa Dash go directly to Kevin Sinfield’s 7in7: Together Challenge, with funds distributed among six partner charities including the MND Association, Leeds Hospitals Charity, Irish MND Association, Darby Rimmer Foundation, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, and MND Scotland.
Sustainability measures include on-site bins and trainer drop-off stations via JogOn. Bone conduction headphones are permitted at low volume so participants can hear marshals and emergency services. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
