Leeds Country Way Winter Ultras
The Leeds Country Way Winter Ultras comprises two consecutive point to point ultra-marathons that circumnavigate the city of Leeds along local footpaths and trails. The event follows the Leeds Country Way, a largely rural route that uses public rights of way including footpaths, bridleways and minor lanes.Day One: LCW South
This 59 km ultra runs from Garforth to Greengates with about 800 m of elevation. The route passes Swillington, St Aidan's RSPB, Methley, Carlton, Lofthouse, East Ardsley, Batley, Morley, Tong, Fulneck, Pudsey and Woodhall Hills before finishing in Greengates.Day Two: LCW North
This 43 km ultra runs from Greengates back to Garforth with about 650 m of elevation, passing Apperley Bridge, Horsforth, Cookridge, Golden Acre Park, Eccup, Harewood and Bardsey.Event Details
