About the Landkreislauf
Every year in July, many runners from the region look forward to the Landkreislauf. This event was first held in 1984 and remains very popular. The Landkreislauf is for everyone who enjoys movement, regardless of age or experience level. Each year, a different route is chosen, ensuring variety and exploration of new parts of the district.
In addition to the main race, which is held as a relay, there are diverse offerings such as Nordic Walking, Kidsrunning, and the Specialrun, making for a great program. This mass sports event is organized in cooperation with the district, the hosting club, and the BLSV sports district of Günzburg. Thanks to sponsors, there is no entry fee.
