The Lakefront Loop is the only 5K completely contained on the Pier, using the Northwestern Medicine Wellness Way Fitness Trail that encircles the North and South Docks. Every dollar raised supports the Pier’s mission to welcome all and offer dynamic experiences and programs for millions of annual guests at no cost.

5K Race Start: 8:00 AM
Kids Dash Start: 9:00 AM
Dogs and strollers are allowed on the course, but participants with them are asked to start at the back of the group.
Parking
Prepaid parking is available for $18.49/day for pre-race day packet pick up (May 1, 2026) and race day (May 3, 2026).
Gear Check
Gear check will not be available. Lockers are available for rent in the Family Pavilion.
