About the Race
The La Salita del Castello is the shortest race among the events surrounding the "Maratonina città di Udine." It is short because the distance separating Piazzetta del Lionello (in front of the Udine town hall entrance) and the Castle hill measures only 400 meters. However, to reach the finish line, located in one of Udine's most iconic places, athletes engaged in this time trial race will need to be not only track specialists but also capable of giving their all in uphill running.
