Kytlický Triatlon
The Kytlický triatlon, celebrating its 40th anniversary, is a legendary triathlon event held in the picturesque Lužické hory mountains in Kytlice, Czechia. It's the oldest triathlon in Northern Bohemia and the third oldest public triathlon in the Czech Republic. Participants are drawn back by the stunning natural surroundings and the friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
The race consists of three disciplines for all categories:
- Swim: 0.5 km in a refreshing natural swimming pool.
- Bike: A fast and varied 22 km route for mountain/trek/gravel bikes, winding through roads and forest paths in the Lužické hory mountains.
- Run: A challenging 7 km run over hills, through forests, pastures, and hidden trails, considered the most difficult part of the triathlon.
The event center is in the charming village of Kytlice, featuring a sports field and a natural forest swimming pool, located between the Lužické hory mountains and Bohemian Switzerland National Park. The event is organized by enthusiasts from Ski Polevsko and the municipality of Kytlice.

Registration
On-site Registration: 8:30 - 10:00 at the Race Office tent on the sports field.
Online Registration: Open until August 6, 2026. Three waves: 1. until June 8, 2. until August 6 (600 CZK), 3. on-site at full price.
Capacity: Limited to 150 participants for on-site registration.
