FAQs

• When do I need a day license? A day license is required if you do not have a start pass and want to complete the Olympic distance. A start pass can be purchased through a triathlon club. Usually, a start pass is worthwhile for 3 Olympic distances per year. However, if you only want to do an Olympic distance once, a day license is perfectly sufficient. This can be booked during registration.
• When is the water temperature measured? The water temperature is measured about 1 hour before the first race start. Unfortunately, we cannot say beforehand whether a wetsuit is allowed or not.
• When are the transition zones open for check-in? Please check the schedule. The current times for check-in are always listed there.
• When do I get my transponder and where do I return it? You will receive the timing transponder during the check-in of your bike in the transition zone and return it during the check-out of your bike.
• Where do I hand in which bag? You hand in the black bag at the truck at the finish line shortly before the start. It will be brought to the finish/WZ2, where you can pick it up after the race. Leave the blue bag at your spot in WZ1 after changing. It will also be brought to the finish after the race and can be collected together with the black bag.
• Can I pass on my starting place? Re-registration to another person is possible until the end of the registration period for a fee of €20. Please send us an email with the following data of the new starter: First Name, Last Name.
