Klingenpfadumrundung
The next Klingenpfadumrundung will take place on Sunday, August 2, 2026. This event is a 70km run or hike around the Klingenpfad. Participants can complete the entire distance or run/walk in stages. It is a friendly run/march focused on the shared experience, suitable for long-distance runners, hobby runners, and hikers.

- Stages: 12 stages ranging from 4.5km to 10.0km. Entry and exit are possible at any stage.
- Meeting Point (Marchers): From 04:30 AM on the historic market square in Solingen-Gräfrath
- Start (Marchers): 05:00 AM
- Meeting Point (Runners): From 06:30 AM on the historic market square in Solingen-Gräfrath
- Start (Runners): 7:00 AM
- Finish: From 5:15 PM at the Klingenmuseum, above the Gräfrath market square. Expected finish by 6:00 PM.
- Pace: Running pace will be adapted to the group (estimated 07:30 min/km). After KM 51.7, groups will split, with the second group being slower. Hiking pace can be determined individually; a guided group will maintain a consistent pace.
Start Fees:
- 1 – 3 stages: € 12.00
- 4 – 6 stages: € 22.00
- 7 – 9 stages: € 31.00
- 10 – 12 stages: € 40.00
Additional Information:
- Immediate certificates available at the finish for all participants. Single-stage starters will receive certificates by mail.
- Shuttle service to the finish is available from specific points (after stage 2, 4, 5, 7, 8).
- There are no toilets or showers at the start/finish areas.
- Reusable cups will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own foldable cups.
- Homemade treats are welcome for the finish line catering.
- A portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity.
Registration: Requires JavaScript. Participants need to select their role (walker/runner), preferred number of stages, and shuttle service if needed. Liability waiver must be accepted.
