44. Internationaler Eggelauf
The BC 23 Meerhof invites all popular sports enthusiasts to its 44th International Eggelauf on June 27, 2026. Visit us and run in the beautiful Eggegebirge Nature Park - South Teutoburger Forest. The Eggelauf also counts towards the Hochstift-Cup this year.
Registration
Pre-registrations are possible from June 1, 2026, to June 26, 2026, via the Raceresult portal. We kindly ask you to use this as the preferred method! Link: https://my.raceresult.com/397384
Late registrations must be submitted by 30 minutes before the respective start on the day of the competition.
Participation Fee
8 €. Students under 18 years and club members are free.
We will evaluate the run again with a transponder system. Hochstift-Cup starters register with their bib number and their transponder number (and please bring them to the run). All other runners will receive a rental transponder and a bib number from us. We will issue the transponders for a rental fee of 10€. The money will be refunded in exchange for the transponder immediately after the races.
Directions
The event takes place at the Herfeldsportanlage, Holunderweg 10, in Meerhof. Start, finish, shower, and parking facilities are located there.
Refreshments
Tea and water will be provided along the routes and at the finish. Food and drinks are also well taken care of.
Awards
The overall winners of the half marathon, the popular sports run, and the jogging run will be honored with a gift. The top three finishers (m/w) of the half marathon, the popular sports run, and the jogging run will receive a certificate on-site. For those placed lower, it is possible to print their certificate via the Raceresult online portal. Certificates can be created upon request after the races.
Notes
The event will take place in any weather. Anyone can participate; club membership is not required.
Route Description
The routes lead predominantly through forest areas, incorporating the forest adventure trail, and offer various surfaces such as asphalt, gravel, or forest floor. The elevation difference is approximately 100m for the popular sports run and approximately 150m for the half marathon.
