High Noon 24 Hour Trail Race and Relay
High Noon is a trail endurance event held at Kamview Nordic Centre in Thunder Bay, Ontario on June 27, 2026. The event offers solo efforts, relay teams and a Youth 4 hour solo for participants 17 years or younger.
The course is a 3.38 km loop on cross country trails. Portions of the loop will be unlit after dark, so a headlamp is recommended. Solo runners can choose from multiple time options and earn finisher medals based on completed laps.
Event amenities include a designated tent corral for team bases, portable washrooms, water refill area and a fully stocked aid station with snacks and beverages, including Precision Fuel & Hydration products and pre-mixed Tailwind Nutrition. The race will be cupless. Chip timing and live results are provided.
Food and extras include complimentary vegan pancakes Sunday morning, complimentary late night pizza courtesy of Boston Pizza, and optional pre-ordered burritos delivered during the event. Awards include finisher medals for relay and youth runners and solo distance awards with specific lap thresholds; completing 48 laps earns a 100 mile belt buckle. Rules note that only one team member may be on course at a time, smoking is prohibited, and entries are non refundable; if the event is canceled due to health or government restrictions, participants may choose a 50 percent entry credit for 2027 or a 50 percent refund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
