Hersbrucker Volkstriathlon
The Hersbrucker Volkstriathlon will take place in Hersbruck on Sunday 28 June 2026. This is a family-friendly triathlon over the sprint distance, making it very suitable for beginners to gain their first experience in triathlon. You can start alone or as a team with your friends.
The race consists of:
- Swimming: 300 meters
- Cycling: 20 kilometers
- Running: 5 kilometers
After the swim in the Happburger Baggersee, the race continues with a slightly ascending but technically simple cycling route to the second transition zone in Waller. The final run is flat, over gravel paths through the forest. At the finish line, a large cake buffet awaits you as a reward. A raffle with valuable prizes from Ortlieb, Rab, and other premium brands will also take place during the award ceremony.
Registration: Online registration will open in early 2026. Participants from the previous event will be notified via email when registration is available. Late entries may be possible on race day between 08:30 and 09:15 on-site, subject to availability (late entry fee €5).
Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 16 years old. Those under 18 require a signed parental consent form.
Equipment: A standard bicycle with functioning brakes is sufficient. Helmets are mandatory and will be checked.
