Heizomat Altmühlseelauf 2026
Join the 39th Heizomat Altmühlseelauf on July 18, 2026, in Gunzenhausen. This event offers a variety of running distances for participants of all ages and abilities.
Race Details:
- Half Marathon: 21.1 km, Start: 18:00 Uhr
- Relay Race (Staffellauf): 21.1 km (split between 2-4 runners), special corporate classification, Start: 18:00 Uhr
- Jedermannslauf: 7.4 km, Start: 18:20 Uhr
- Schülerlauf (Youth Run): 2.0 km, Start: 17:00 Uhr (for ages 2011-2018)
- Bambinilauf (Toddler Run): 400 m, Start: 16:00 Uhr (for ages 2019 and younger)

Registration: Online registration is open until July 14, 2026, for most races. On-site registration may be available for the Bambinilauf up to 15 minutes before the start.
Bambinilauf Information: This fun run for the youngest participants (ages 2019 and younger) is free. They will complete one lap around the sports field without timekeeping and will receive a medal and certificate.
Staffellauf Information: Teams of 2-4 runners can share the 21.1 km half marathon course. A special classification is available for corporate teams. Each runner may only complete one leg, and continuous switching is not permitted. Timing is done via a transponder in the relay baton.
Schülerlauf Information: This popular 2 km race is for young runners born between 2011 and 2018. Last year saw nearly 150 finishers, and early registrations for 2026 are already strong.
