Harzgeröder Klippenlauf
The Harzgeröder Klippenlauf is a popular and cross-country run for everyone, set in the scenic Unterharz region. It features several race options to suit all participants, from beginners to seasoned runners.
Race Distances:
- 1 km Schnupperlauf: A flat loop course on forest and dirt paths, designed for children (U8 and younger).
- 2.5 km Schülerlauf: Another flat loop course on forest and dirt paths for younger participants (U10 to U16).
- 5 km Jedermannlauf: A slightly undulating course on forest and dirt paths, suitable for participants aged U14 and older.
- 15 km Hauptlauf: A challenging course with approximately +340 meters of elevation gain, featuring rocky sections, ascents, narrow trails, and a rock tunnel. This route runs along the Selketalstieg through the Selketal valley.
- 21.1 km Halbmarathon: An even more demanding course with around +450 meters of elevation gain, sharing similar challenging terrain including rocky sections, ascents, narrow trails, and a rock tunnel.
- 5 km Wandern & Nordic Walking: A slightly undulating course on forest and dirt paths for walkers and Nordic walkers.

Event Information:
The event grounds at the dog sports field in Harzgerode will host the start and finish, as well as the organization office and bib pickup. Please note that safety pins are no longer permitted for attaching bibs; start number bands or alternatives are required. Start number bands can be purchased for 5 EUR.
