Grit&Gratitude 2026: A Charity Bike Ride for Pediatric Cancer
Join us for the Grit&Gratitude bike extravaganza on Sunday, August 16th, 2026, at SpokeNGear Bike Shop in Two Harbors, MN. This event aims to raise crucial funds for pediatric cancer research and to support children fighting cancer.
Ride Details:
- 23 Mile ROAD Ride: A paved route along the scenic highway to Knife River and back. This ride is not timed. Registration: $40. Same-day registration: $55. Check-in between 9:00 AM and 9:45 AM. Ride rolls at 10:00 AM.
- 50 Mile GRAVEL Ride: A cue card self-navigated route with potential for mud. This ride is not timed. Registration: $60. Same-day registration: $75. Check-in between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM. Ride rolls at 9:00 AM. For Gravel riders, you will need to be able to self-navigate, read cue cards, and use an odometer.
Virtual Options:
Participate in spirit with our virtual ride options for the 23 Mile, 50 Mile, and 100 Mile distances. Prices: $0.00.
Important Information:
- Parking: Please park at the Credit Union, then bike to SpokenGear and Cedar Coffee. Look for the tent behind the shop.
- Requirements: All riders must wear a helmet, bring a water bottle, and ensure their bike is in good working condition.
- Fundraising: Early registration opens June 1st. We encourage participants to create fundraising teams and raise peer-to-peer donations to increase our impact.
- Silent Auction: Runs from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, featuring awesome goods and experiences from our generous sponsors.
- Proceeds: 100% of proceeds go to our charities: 50% to Hepatoblastoma Research (Cincinnati Children's), 30% to Ronald McDonald Charities, 10% to Dragonfly Foundation, and 10% to Northern Lights Foundation.
