Great Human Race 5K

Join us for the Western Family YMCA 's Fourth Annual Great Human Race 5K at 10am, followed by our International Food Festival at 11am, in partnership with the West Wilmington Seventh Day Adventist Church. This event is a celebration of what unites us as a community. Plus, enjoy a variety of foods from around the world, and entertainment for the entire family including special global performances, moon bounce, and more!
5k Participants may enter the International Food Festival for free. If you are planning to only attend the International Food Festival, we are accepting cash only at the event. No early registration required. Adults: $10, Children under 18: $5.
All proceeds from the Great Human Race 5k will be donated to the Annual Campaign for the Western Family YMCA.

Overall Male/Female, Overall Male/Female Master, Top 3 in each age group Male/Female (13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+)

Bib Pick Up & Registration:
Sunday September 14th from 9:00am till 9:55am at the Western YMCA.
5K Start Time:
10am.
Parking:
Please arrive early for enough time to park. Participants and vendors may park in the Western Family YMCA parking lot. To find the lots, Turn into the Western Family YMCA parking lot, located at 2600 Capitol Trail, Newark, DE 19711. Turn right at the first turn. Follow the traffic arrows and make a left turn to go towards the back of the parking lot. We highly recommend parking in front of the Youth Development Center, which is to the right of the 10 Lane Pool, and then walking down to the registration tables past the baseball fields. You may also park to the right of the Family Fun Pool Complex, which is just passed the baseball fields, as well.
