Grasmere Wild Trail Runs 2027
Grasmere Wild Trail Runs is an annual trail running event in the Lake District held in March 2027 at Grasmere Lakeland Sports & Show. The event features a brand new Half Marathon route alongside the popular 5km and 10km Trail Runs.

Location: Grasmere Lakeland Sports & Show, Stock Lane, Grasmere, Cumbria, LA22 9SL
Available Distances
- Half Marathon (NEW): Route passes Grasmere Village, Grasmere Water, Rydal Water, Rydal Caves, skirts Loughrigg Fell to Ambleside Park and back to Rydal Water.
- 10km: Route includes parts of Grasmere Village, Grasmere Water, Rydal Water, and passes Rydal Caves.
- 5km: A scenic lap of Grasmere Water, perfect for beginners.
Canicross
This event is cani-cross friendly. One controlled dog per runner is allowed, and dogs must be on a short lead at all times. There will be a separate start for canicross runners.
Timing & Finishers
Live Chip Timing will be provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive an Event Medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a drink and snack.

Parking
Limited on-site parking is available for £4. Competitors may need to use public parking nearby if the car park is full.
