Goole Riverbank Challenge 10k
The Goole Riverbank Challenge is a single lap 10 kilometre multi terrain race held on the riverbank of the Ouse and passing through the village of Hook and the Riverside Gardens bandstand. The course is described as predominantly flat and is not suitable for wheelchairs.
The event is scheduled to coincide with the Goole bicentennial celebrations and offers entrants the option of a commemorative bicentennial technical T shirt featuring local water tower landmarks. Event services include chip timing, a specialist event medical team, on course marshalls, and distance markers.
Facilities at the Race HQ, Westfield Banks Sports Complex, Westfield Lane, Hook, Goole, DN14 5PW, include water, toilets, changing rooms, showers, baggage storage, free car parking near the start and finish, and food and drink available on the day. Additional post race services include massage and a bespoke finisher's medal. Prizes are given for first, second and third places and there is a special prize for the 200th finisher.
Entry is limited to 350 places. The event holds race licence number 30747 and provides online entry only with no entry on the day.
