About the race
Organized by ASD Grignetta, the fourth stage of the GO IN UP 2026 by Affari&Sport circuit takes place at the foot of the magnificent Grignetta, with arrival and final celebration at the Piani dei Resinelli square. The race is open to everyone, with two modes: Competitive, for those who want to challenge the clock, and Non-competitive, for those who wish to enjoy the course at their own pace. As always, the "third half" (post-race celebration) will be a moment of joy for all, surrounded by the mountains of Lecco, with good food, cold beer, and plenty of friendship.
Bibs will be distributed from 18:00 at the oratory of Ballabio Superiore “BEATA VERGINE ASSUNTA” in via Padre Dante Invernizzi. Athletes will then move independently to the start line in via Grigna, after the bridge over the stream. Parking is available at several locations including the oratory of Ballabio inferiore, the cemetery of Ballabio superiore, via Leonardo da Vinci, the GANASSA company parking, and the ENI gas station piazza on the Provincial Road. Return to your parking from Piazzale dei Resinelli must be organized independently.
Race Course Description
The race starts from the final stretch of via Grigna at 20:00. For almost the entire course, it will utilize mountain paths from Ballabio to the Piani dei Resinelli parking area, through Val Grande. The final sprint will include a short asphalt section along via Corno del Nibbio where the finish line will be located. The evening will conclude at 22:00 with the awards ceremony on Piazzale Daniele Chiappa.
REGISTRATIONS
Online registration closes on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM. On-site registration is available on the race evening until 7:15 PM. Maximum participants: 450 athletes.
Registration for the COMPETITIVE mode, reserved for adults only, requires a valid competitive medical certificate. The NON-COMPETITIVE mode has no age limit; times will be recorded, but participants will not be ranked.
IMPORTANT: In both cases, to complete registration, it is mandatory to accept the entire liability waiver.
