Friedenslichtlauf - A Run for Peace
The Friedenslichtlauf is a running event held annually in Mainaschaff. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Sunday, December 13th.
The event offers several distances to choose from:
- 34 km (Friedenslichtlauf Gesamtstrecke)
- Half Marathon (Ab Niedernberg)
- 14 km (Ab Großwallstadt)
- 9 km (Ab Obernburg)
All proceeds from the Friedenslichtlauf go to the Ambulanter Kinder- und Jugendhospizdienst Miltenberg, supporting children and youth hospice care. This event is a demonstration of community spirit, solidarity, and humanity.
