Description
Stride for Sight 5K is a unique event for all ages and abilities, featuring blind and sighted runners competing together. This event helps fund comprehensive programs at the Foundation for Blind Children and includes a timed 5K and a relaxed 1-mile walk.
Blindfold Challenge: Compete in the 5K run blindfolded with a sighted guide. Create a two-person team to tackle the challenge. Blindfolds and tethers will be provided.
Registration Fees
- 5K: $30.00 (Oct 25 – Jan 31), $35.00 (Feb 1 – Feb 28)
- 1 Mile Walk: $30.00 (Oct 25 – Jan 31), $35.00 (Feb 1 – Feb 28)
- Sleep-in for Sight: $25.00 (Oct 25 - Feb 28)
Awards and Amenities
All participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and a Dri-Fit Tech T-Shirt. Age group awards will be presented for the top three in all age groups for the 5K distance only.
Refreshments will be provided at the Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" including granola bars, fruit, and beverages.
Packet Pickup
Friday, February 28, 2025, from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Sole Sports, 7001 N Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ. Race Day pickup begins at 7:00 AM at Arizona Boardwalk.
