Floors Castle Trail Race 2026
Join us for the third Floors Castle Trail Race in 2026, set against the majestic backdrop of Floors Castle, the largest inhabited castle in Scotland. The event features 10km and 5km distances on an undulating but fast course with hard-packed gravel trails, culminating in a lively finish line atmosphere.
For younger participants, the Junior 3km race offers a challenging yet achievable distance, perfect for first-time racers and future stars.
Distances and Options:
- 10km Trail Race: Age 17+. Two laps around the gorgeous grounds of Floors Castle.
- 5km Trail Race: Age 15+. One lap through the picturesque gardens on hard-packed gravel trails.
- Junior 3km Trail Race: Age 9 - 14. A shorter loop for younger runners.

Location:
Floors Castle is located just outside Kelso, Scotland, approximately 1 hour south east of Edinburgh and 1 hour 30 minutes north west of Newcastle. The Race Village is situated on the main lawn directly in front of the castle. Use postcode TD5 7RL for the main entrance.
