First Responders Half Marathon - Vancouver
Join us for the First Responders Half Marathon in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Sunday, November 1, 2026. The event takes place in Pacific Spirit Regional Park, with the start and finish on Sasamat Trail adjacent to Sasamat Reservoir. Routes run mainly on forest trails and follow sections of Top Trail, Huckleberry Trail, Sherry Sakamoto Trail, SW Marine Trail, Clinton Trail, Salish Trail, Imperial Trail and Hemlock Trail.

Pricing and Fees
Published entry fees start at $85 for 21 km, $55 for 10 km, and $45 for 5 km. Fees increase on January 1, June 1, and October 2. Team entries are available for four runners in the 21 km or 10 km categories for $200 starting. A charity entry option is available for $40 with a fundraising minimum of $400.

- 9:45am: Pre-race briefing
- 10:00am: Half Marathon START (Individual and Team)
- 10:15am: 10Km Run START
- 10:30am: 5Km Run/Walk
- ~1:00pm: Race wrapup
Course Details
21.1K: 2 LAPS. Athletes will start adjacent to the Reservoir, heading briefly east along Top Trail before turning left onto Huckleberry Trail toward the corner of the park. At the junction, take a hard left onto Sherry Sakamoto Trail, running parallel to W 16th Avenue. Continue until the next left onto Sword Fern Trail. The route then winds and rolls through the park.
