First Responders Half Marathon - Saskatoon
This event offers multiple race distances along the North Saskatchewan River on the beautiful Meewasin Trail system, with start and finish at Rotary Park. Published courses include a 21.1 km race run as two laps, plus 10 km, 5 km and 1 km options. Water stations are provided at about every 2.5 km.
Registration fees are shown for each distance and increase on January 1, May 1 and October 1. A team category for the half marathon and 10 km accepts teams of four; this is not a relay. Team results are calculated as the average of the four individual times and each member also receives an individual time. If one or more team members do not complete the course, remaining members receive only individual results.
Entry packages include a short sleeve cotton t‑shirt (not guaranteed after October 2), a finisher medal, chip timing subject to minimum attendance, aid stations, postrace snacks and eligibility for draw prizes. Race packet pickup is available Saturday at Bike Doctor, 623 Main Street, Saskatoon; Sunday pickup is by request only. A reduced "Run for Charity" entry fee is offered with a fundraising commitment for charity partners including OSI-CAN and Wounded Warriors Canada. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
