Erzhäuser Heegbachlauf
The Erzhäuser Heegbachlauf will take place in Erzhausen on Sunday 13 September 2026. You can run 6 kilometers.
Founded by the Kaltduscher group nearly 30 years ago, the Heegbachlauf aims to bring the experience of major running events to Erzhausen while keeping participation affordable. The core philosophy, outlined in the Heegbachlauf Charta, emphasizes that every participant, regardless of age or speed, should feel like a winner and receive a unique keepsake – a "Kaltduscher Kultkleidungsstück" (cult clothing item).
While modernizing aspects like timing and registration, the spirit and the cult clothing item have remained. For 2024, a new approach allowed for free design of the cult clothing item, resulting in a "KKK 2024" in pink and purple, with matching medals in classic "Kaltduscherschwarz".
Thanks to loyal sponsors, the Heegbachlauf continues to offer its "Doppel-8" course at a reasonable entry fee, distinct from the rising costs of other major events. The new medal and the KKK 2024 are highlighted as memorable items.
