Event Overview
The Elephant Mountain Trail Races will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Cave Creek Regional Park, Arizona. Participants can choose from various distances: 50 Miler, 50K, 35K, 22K, 12K, and 6K.
Course Descriptions
The 50 Mile distance will follow the same route as the 50K, extending past Spur Cross into the beautiful Tonto National Forest. Runners will navigate through breathtaking canyons, including Chalk Canyon, and finish the race back at Cave Creek.
The shorter distances (6K and 12K) will remain within Cave Creek Regional Park, featuring the scenic Go John and new Quartz trails.

Registration closes on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 11:59 PM MT. Pricing for the races is as follows:
- 50 Miler: $201.38
- 50K: $154.82
- 35K: $107.01
- 22K: $83.79
- 12K: $66.37
- 6K: $54.75
Prices include all taxes and fees.
Environmental Awareness
This event promotes sustainability through cupless racing. Participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable cups or can use UltrAspire cups provided during registration and on race day.
